LIUYANG, China – September 1 – The organizing committee of the 17th Liuyang Fireworks Culture Festival was officially inaugurated at the Liuyang Fireworks Association at 8:00 AM , announcing that the highly anticipated festival is scheduled for October 24-25 at the Liuyang Sky Theater.

 Under the theme "A Rendezvous of Light-Years," this year's festival, hosted by the Liuyang Fireworks Association, continues the philosophy of "fireworks professionals creating a fireworks festival." Through a collaborative enterprise funding model and market-oriented operations, the event is poised to be a spectacular celebration merging tradition and innovation, technology and art.

The two-day festival features a rich lineup of exciting activities:

The opening ceremony and fireworks gala on October 24 will integrate cultural performances, pyrotechnics displays, and a drone show involving tens of thousands of units. This immersive extravaganza, blending "fireworks + technology" and "fireworks + culture," will simultaneously attempt a Guinness World Record.

The 6th Liuyang Fireworks Competition (LFC) on October 25 will invite top global pyrotechnic teams to compete, creating the "Olympics of Fireworks."

A notable highlight during the festival is the concurrent hosting of the 5th Xiang-Gan Border Innovative Fireworks Product Competition and the 12th Hunan Province New Fireworks Product Evaluation. Focusing on the emerging trend of low-smoke and sulfur-free products, these competitions will gather creative and eco-friendly fireworks innovations from around the world. By showcasing the latest advancements, they aim to recognize and promote a batch of groundbreaking, safe, and green benchmark products, sparking a wave of innovation. This initiative is set to guide the industry towards a new future for environmentally friendly fireworks, grasp new industrial development directions, and pioneer a new chapter of green leadership.

Furthermore, this year's festival will debut a large-scale daytime fireworks display. Utilizing a diverse selection of colorful daytime pyrotechnic products and meticulously choreographed creative visuals, it will present a magnificent spectacle where mountains, water, the city, and vibrant fireworks blend harmoniously along the Liuyang River. An online "All-Net Inspiration Co-creation" campaign will collaborate with leading platforms to solicit public ideas, fostering diverse artistic interactions. A thematic summit will convene representatives from scenic areas and cultural tourism influencers to explore new integrated models for "Fireworks in Scenic Spots," promoting cross-industry development.
